After School MTB Coaching – Term FOUR 2026

Following a successful Term Three 2026, bookings are now open for Term FOUR 2026. No night lights needed for Term Four — daylight saving means long summer evenings for our weekday groups! Groups commence Monday, 19th of October, 2026 (ie week two of term four).

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE: The booking link below uses a PLACEHOLDER date (Friday 18th of December, 2026). Please complete the booking, and our team will contact you during the summer holidays to confirm your child’s specific group day and time.

Term FOUR Program Details:

  • Coaching Focus: Skills and drills for real mountain bike skills progression (not just recreational riding).
  • Target Ages: 8-18 (Ask about our new 7/8-year-old introductory MTB group!).
  • Locations: Various Nelson trails, including limited slots at Silvan Mountain Bike Park and Cable Bay Adventure Park
  • Returning Riders: Term FOUR 2026 riders usually retain their slot unless a change is requested.

Payment Options: Pay a 50% deposit now or pay in full to secure your child’s spot.

Youth Mountain Bike Coaching and Progression at Gravity Nelson NZ

Nelson School Holiday MTB Programs: Jumps, Drops and DH Camps

Our Spring 2026 holiday programs run across the two-week school break (28 September – 9 October 2026). Full-day Skills Camps at the Field of Dreams are open to kids of all ages and all levels, while our coached and shuttled DH sessions suit intermediate and advanced riders (Grade 3+ trail proficiency recommended). Note that there is a 100% refund policy for any groups cancelled due to weather or insufficient numbers.

Spring Holiday MTB Activities:

  • Coached Skills Camps: Full-day supervised mtb fun for kids of all ages and all levels at the Field of Dreams (Tuesdays and Thursdays, both weeks).
  • Downhill (DH) Camps: Fully coached and shuttled training for DH racing (Wednesdays).
  • Casual (Saturdays and Sundays) & Private Shuttles (on request): Maximum gravity with minimum climbing.
  • Private Race Coaching: Personalized coaching for the upcoming race season.
