Safer Mountain Bike Jump Progression:
This is what has been missing from Nelson, an airbag to progress your jumping skills and tricks. An airbag provides a more forgiving environment to learn tricks as crashes generally don’t hurt and as such you are able to push your limits without paying the consequences. The Gravity Air Bag Experience (G.A.B.E.) is here, located at Gravity Nelson’s Field of Dreams in Hira, Nelson, but also available for private hire, and events at Branford, Codgers, Neale Park, the Maitai Pump Track, Tahunanui, McGazza Land, and many more locations around the South Island.
G.A.B.E. is a little over 2m high, 4m wide and 9m long, and has several different kickers depending on whether it is located at the Field of Dreams or public facilities.
Thanks to GABE’s founding Sponsors for making it possible to purchase the airbag and help kids progress their skills more safely, check them out and follow them on Social Media: Pomeroys (www.pomeroys.co.nz, FB&Insta: @pomeroyscoffee), Juicies (tamanbay.nz/pages/juicies, FB&Insta: @lovejuicies), Renovate Me (renovatemenelson.co.nz, FB: @renovatemenelson), Tineli (Tineli.co.nz ,Insta: @tinelinz, FB: @Tineli), Abbott Insurance Brokers Nelson (abbott.co.nz, Insta: @abbott_insurance_nelson).
We still have sponsorship opportunities for up to 2 more companies to help support this awesome project, sponsor’s logos will appear in organic viral photos and videos as kids, adults and their friends and family share photos of them learning new tricks on the airbag.
Please get in touch if your company would like to join supporting G.A.B.E. we have a number of sponsorship options that will provide highly visible exposure for your brand. You can also read about other sponsorship opportunities to support youth mountain biking skills development in Nelson, HERE.
