Gravity Nelson Ltd COVID-19 UPDATED Policy based on announcements today 23/03/2022

A summary of the key announcements:
From midnight this Friday 25/03/2022, traffic light settings simplified changes to Red that will be effective from this weekend are:

·         Capacity limits removed for all outdoor events

·         Indoor capacity limits for the likes of bars and restaurants doubled from 100 to 200

·         Outdoor face mask requirements removed

·         All restrictions other than mask wearing requirements removed at Orange

·         Use of My Vaccine Pass and requirement to scan in ends on April 4

·         All vaccine mandates removed from April 4, except for health and disability, aged care, corrections and border workforces

We will analyse these developments and expect to get guidance from our industry associations later this week and will update the specific implications of these changes here.

Gravity Nelson Ltd COVID-19 Traffic Light System Policy at 30/11/2021

By entering our premises, contracting a coaching session or shuttle session with us you agree to abide by this policy.

The Gravity Nelson business partners, utilising advice and recommendations from industry associations including the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA), and Recreation New Zealand have, in consultation with staff and contractors developed and agreed the following policy under ALL LEVELS of the Traffic Light System.

Additionally, we have considered: – Our obligations under the Covid-19 Risk Protection Framework – Our responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act, to take all reasonable and practicable steps to ensure the safety of our customers, participants, and staff – The impact ongoing breaks in operation has on our ability to ensure our continued financial viability – The intent of the education mandate in protecting Rangatahi.

This policy will come into effect when the Covid-19 Risk Protection Framework comes into effect on the 3rd of December 2021 and will be revised as required by the Ministry of Health.

In the Gravity Shop: Owing to the small size of our shop and the impossibility of social distancing, customers must scan in before entering the shop, employees will wear facemasks, all employees have valid and current MY Vacine Pass certificates, customers should wear facemasks, our shop counter shield will be up.  If you are unable or unwilling to abide by these rules you can purchase items online through our webstore shop.gravitynelson.co.nz or book your bike in for a contactless service via gravitynelson.co.nz
Coaching sessions: Owing to the wide and varied contact during coaching sessions for multiple hours, all eligable (12+) coaching customers must present a valid and current My Vaccine Pass for scanning and scan in with the QR code provided by the coach before starting a session, all coaches have valid and current MY Vacine Pass certificates, sessions will maintain physical distancing where possible.  If you are unable or unwilling to present a valid and current My Vaccine Pass we will be unable to coach you at this present time.
Private and Casual Shuttling sessions:  Owing to the relatively high proportion of our customers who have traveled from multiple regions, plus wide and varied contact between passengers and staff for multiple hours in very close quarters all eligable (12+) shuttling customers must present a valid and current My Vaccine Pass for scanning and scan in with the QR code provided by the driver before starting a session, all drivers have valid and current MY Vacine Pass certificates, customers and drivers must wear a mask while in the shuttle vehicle.  If you are unable or unwilling to present a valid and current My Vaccine Pass we will be unable to shuttle you at this present time.
