Our Shuttle Services

Private Mountain Bike Shuttles

• Customization: You have full control over the schedule and destinations, no waiting for others or a timetable. Whether you prefer the challenging descents of Fringed Hill or Sharlands, or the flowy trails of Codgers or Silvan, or perhaps more adventurous rides like the Rameka or next-level mountain bike parks like the Cable Bay Adventure Park or the Wairoa Gorge, we tailor the experience to your group’s preferences.
• Pricing: $90 per person for a half-day (3 runs), $150 per person for a full-day (5 runs). Minimum four riders required.
• Special Offer: Nelson Mountain Bike Club members receive a 10% discount on private shuttles.
• Vehicle Options: We now have two 4×4 Utes for small groups (up to four riders) for ultimate comfort, plus our famous 4×4 Troop Carrier for gnarly off road shuttles (up to nine riders), and our 4×4 Mini-van with forward facing seats for transfers or less gnarly shuttles (up to nine riders).

Casual Shuttle Days

• Flexibility: Join our regular shuttle days, where you can pay per run or use a shuttle pass. You can quickly and easily see where we are operating and at what times by checking at www.gravitynelson.co.nz/casualshuttles at any times. With multiple pick-up times and locations, you can easily fit a shuttle into your schedule.
• Affordable: $25 per full run (typically 600+ meters of vertical elevation gained) or save with a 10-run pass for $200. Book one of the online slots to guarantee your spot, or queue up and jump on empty seats.
• New 2024 and beyond: Now all casual shuttle seats are bookable online for added convenience and peace of mind.  If we see a shuttle day is filling up we will add extra vehicles, so book early.

Ride-along and Standby Seats

• Convenience: If a private shuttle has available seats, you can join in by booking a ride-along seat (email us at info@gravitynelson.co.nz for dates you are interested). Or, grab a standby seat if you see our shuttle out on the trails.
• Pricing: $25 per run, or use your shuttle card for added savings.

5. What if I only want to ride one trail or do one run? No problem! You can join our casual shuttles for a single run or multiple runs depending on your schedule. We offer flexible options to fit your needs.  Private shuttles however require a minimum of three runs, although sometimes we can tag a single run onto other shuttle departures so get in touch.

6. Is there a discount for Nelson Mountain Bike Club members? Yes, Nelson Mountain Bike Club members receive a 10% discount on private shuttle bookings. It’s our way of supporting the local biking community.
