These bikes need no introduction and have been ridden by bike park shredders, racers and huckers for donkey’s years. The latest incarnation of the v10 is available in 2 grades of carbon, with 27.5 inch wheels and 216mm of travel. The lower VPP link also gives the rider the option of running a high/steep setting or a low/slack setting.
Built with;
strong, light and easily serviced wheelset, Stans flow MK3 laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs. Set up tubeless with a Maxxis shorty up front and a Minion DHR2 rear.
Shimano Saint/Zee drivetrain, with Finned brake pads helping to manage the long Nelson descents. Running metallic pads in the rear and resin in the front also helps to keep braking a little more consistent.
Renthal fatbar carbon, 30mm rise and Renthal Integra stem, 50mm long with 0mm rise.
Finished with Thomson and SDG seat and post combo… This is an ideal sled for days in the bike park, sending it to flat, being a strava bandit, casing jumps 50/50, riding to the shop to get milk and general mountain cycling down hills (preferably with the assistance of a shuttle and/or chairlift)
